Overview
In February 2025, my brother and I built a fully automated, camera-based darts scoring setup. Combining off-the-shelf darting equipment, 3D printing, cameras, and open-source software, the system eliminates manual math and brings an interactive, arcade-like experience to every game.
Hardware & Construction

Printed on my brother’s 3D printer using the open-source designs by Robbel3D. It houses three synchronized AliExpress high-speed USB camera modules positioned at equal angles around the board.
- Integrated Lighting:
Built-in addressable LED light strip inside the inner rim of the ring, providing shadow-free illumination across the entire board surface.
